Promotion and Media Consent — Artists and Vendors

By registering for, exhibiting at, performing at, or otherwise participating in the Pink Pearl Affair, I acknowledge and agree that The Pink Pearl Foundation® and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® – Psi Theta Omega Chapter (collectively, the "Organizers") may use my name, business or trade name, likeness, image, voice, logo, and images of my products, artwork, or displays in promotional materials and advertisements related to the Pink Pearl Affair, in any and all media now known or later developed, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further notice, approval, or compensation.

I further acknowledge and consent to being photographed, videotaped, audio-recorded, or otherwise recorded during the event, and I grant the Organizers the irrevocable right to use, reproduce, edit, and distribute such recordings for the purposes described above. I release the Organizers and their officers, members, employees, agents, and assigns from any claim arising out of such use, including claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or defamation.

I acknowledge that I am encouraged to share promotional materials furnished by the Organizers in order to increase attendance and visibility for the event.

I further acknowledge that the Organizers grant me a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Pink Pearl Affair name, logo, and Organizer-furnished promotional materials solely to advertise my participation in the Pink Pearl Affair, and only in accordance with the event guidelines and any brand or usage standards the Organizers provide. I agree that this license: (a) does not extend to any other mark of the Organizers, including the marks of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated; (b) does not permit me to alter Organizer-furnished materials or to state or imply that the Organizers sponsor, endorse, or are affiliated with my business, products, or services beyond my participation in this event; (c) confers no ownership interest, and all goodwill arising from my use inures solely to the Organizers; and (d) terminates automatically at the conclusion of the event or upon written notice from the Organizers, after which I will promptly discontinue use and remove the materials from my active marketing channels.

Compliance with Laws and Sales Responsibility

• All artists and vendors are required to comply with all applicable state and federal laws, statutes, and regulations.

• Artists and Vendors retain full ownership of their sales and are solely responsible for collecting and reporting any applicable sales tax.

• Artists and Vendors agree to adhere to all regulations set forth by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation and are responsible for paying any applicable fees associated with their participation.

• By participating in this event, artists and vendors acknowledge and accept these responsibilities.
